I have been looking for my "once and for all" mail client solution and frustration has been the name of the game! I used over 50 imap mail accounts to test both programs. I know I know I know, why 50 accounts?? Well, I have that many accounts I need to keep up with and there are actually more. I figured 50 would really test the programs to the max. Needless to say, it did not even take anywhere near 50 to start seeing who our winner would be in this battle for Desktop Mail Client Supremacy!
Steve Jobs showed off the new Apple iPad this week and the million dollar question is "will it be the Netbook killer?" I would think no and for a number of reasons. I can not believe Apple released such a blah blah blah product after their recent successes with the iPod and iPhone. So we will get past the obvious worse name choice they could have made and dive into the other items that will make it hard for the iPad to be a major success.
November 4th, 2008 was a momentous night for me. Though Candidate Obama gave lovely speeches, I didn't share his ideals and did not vote for him. However by about 7pm, it was clear that Barack Obama was going to be the 44th President of the United States of America. This left me feeling very conflicted. I couldn't help but feel a bit euphoric. I've never been one of those Black Conservatives that denies their heritage and pretends America is happily colorblind. I knew that Obama's election was a watershed moment that could not be denied. I reflected on my Grandma's stories of growing up under Jim Crow. I thought of my Mom's story of her first trip to Mississippi in 1968, an experience that disturbed her so much that she never set foot in that state again. And I wished that they had lived long enough to see that night, for I know they would have shed tears of joy.

Washington Wizards All Star guard Gilbert Arenas and 3rd year player, Javaris Crittenton, drew guns on each other during a dispute over a gambling debt. We can guess that Arenas must have owed Crittenton the money as Gilbert should have way too much money to be asking Crittenton to pay up for a debt!
