With water becoming a growing issue in alot of states, it seems as if a civil war could start over water.
Florida convinced the federal govt to get the army core of engineers to siphon of water from Georgia to facilitate growth of the mussels. Mussels are said to be a big part of the ecosystem and environment near the Florida pan handle. This water comes from near north central Georgia, where people are saying Florida should find their own source of fresh water.
On another front, western and southern states are eyeing water in the great lakes region. State lawmakers in Michigan are already defensive about this and are ready to defend their rights to protect use of the regions natural resources.
