NFL Week 13 Wrap Up E-mail

Week #13 of the NFL season is in the books. The New England Cheaters and Dallas Cowboys are still atop the NFL. The Patriots are now allowing teams to remain close so more people will watch the games until the end. Dallas beat the Green Bay Packers in a Thursday night game to claim 1st place in the NFC. This game was weird because the NFL Network (satellite) had the game while the cable networks didn't. How stupid! TV contracts are ruining so much in sports that it is ridiculous. Pittsburgh looked good as they put the Bengals in their proper place with a sound thumping Sunday night. The Colts are playing shorthanded but still managed to beat a very good Jags team. Amazingly, the Washington Redskins took the field Sunday, not even a full week after the tragic death of Pro Bowl safety, Shaun Taylor. That was a big surprise and then they get to suit up again for a Thursday night game against Chicago. NFL, neither of these teams will make the playoffs ... couldn't you postpone this game? Probably not since NFL Network gets to air the game and stick it to the cable companies again.

Week #13 Pay 'Em & They Stop Playing List

  • Larry Johnson
  • Shaun Alexander
  • Jason David (CB from Colts to Saints)
  • Anyone playing for the Panthers. Have you noticed they haven't done jack since they were busted for performance enhancing drugs a few years ago?
  • Drew Brees

The following teams are currently dead in the water and barring a miracle, they along with their fans can begin looking to next season:

  • Buffalo Bills
  • New York Jets
  • Miami Dolphins
  • Houston Texans
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • St. Louis Rams
  • Oakland Raiders
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Chicago Bears
  • Washington Redskins
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Baltimore Ravens
