Week #5 of the NFL season is in the books. Most of the top teams are still looking impressive. A few more can throw in the towel already and others are still jockeying for position in the post-season.

The most impressive teams of week five are the cheating New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Washington Redskins ... YES, the Washington Redskins. New England is good enough to stop recording the other team's signals. They should be able to be these teams twice anyways without the video tapes. Dallas remained undefeated, but they looked terrible beating the lowly Buffalo Bills. Jacksonville and running back, Jones-Drew, looked pretty good in their victory. Green Bay looked abismal in their loss to the Bears as Brett Favre threw one interception reminding fans of his old, wild, gunslinger days.

The following teams can begin planning for next season as they are currently dead in the water:

  • Buffalo Bills
  • New York Jets
  • Miami Dolphins
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • New Orleans Saings
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • St. Louis Rams
