PETA has come to the forefront again with the putting down of Eight Belles after she broke both her front leg's ankles. PETA has called for the jockey to be suspended since PETA believes he whipped the horse after she broke her ankles.

Here is my only problem with PETA ... you have to take down ALL animal cruelty, or NONE. Don't pick on Michael Vick and dogfighting. Don't single out a horse and a jockey. Get the entire sport of horse racing! Let's get rid of the entire sport because ALL the jockeys were whipping their horses. ALL the owners are breeding these horses for money purposes only! All the horses who are "lucky" enough to make it through their racing careers are NOT allowed to graze in green pastures for the rest of their lives. They are shipped overseas and slaughtered for food.

Stop horse racing, stop dog breeding for dog shows, stop cat breeding for cat shows, stop it ALL or don't stop anything! PETA, you appear to be a bunch of hypocrites. How can you sit back and let the millionaires and billionaires continue to breed cats and dogs for money purposes? There are millions of cats and dogs in the animal shelters who need homes. And many of them are free of charge to take home. Yet you sit back and let breeders charge hundreds, even thousands for the cats and dogs they breed.

PETA, you make a lot of noise for small, insignificant issues. How about making your voices heard at the next horse race before a horse dies? How about protesting and stopping the dog shows I see on Animal Planet? PETA, take a hike if you don't plan on protesting and stopping ALL animal abuse!
