Republicans, myself included, had become very excited with the Palin-McCain ticket thinking McCain finally did something right. After listening to their short interviews yesterday, I hope Republicans are not as disappointed as I am with the Palin-McCain ticket!
Palin and McCain seem to be so unprepaired when they give interviews. Sarah Palin is showing her inexperience each and every time she opens her mouth. I don't know if her good looks can carry her for another 40 days as we close in on the November vote. In her interview with Katie Couric, Palin states she thinks we are headed for another Great Depressionif the 700 billion dollar bailout does not happen. When McCain is asked if he thinks her assessment of the situation is correct, he says no. It is a big situation and many people see it different ways is what McCain responds with ... how disappointing! Can we all get on the same page people?
Palin - Couric Part 1
Palin - Couric Part 2
Next, Palin finishes part 1 of the interview by trying to drive home the point McCain will lead the charge for oversight of Wall Street. Couric tries to get some examples out of her since Palin says he can do it. However, Sarah Palin can never give an example! She finally stutters and says "I'll try to find you some and I'll bring them to you." ... In the terms of my 13 year old when someone says something she can't believe, WTF?
So there goes the election. If McCain and Palin can not get on the same page before making appearances, we are doomed and Obama will easily win in November. Not only are Palin and McCain not in sync, McCain keep dodging appearances. He does not show up for the Late Show with David Letterman and he wants to cancel his debate with Obama Friday. Looks like the White House is getting ready to welcome Obama!
