This show has to be one of the funniest, ghetto shows on TV. However, I put this show at the top of the ghetto reality shows as this weeks episode actually had some good spots.
This weeks episode gets mad props due to the fact the way the episode started was monumental in getting across to ALL people, not just the ghetto fabulous ones, the importance of communication in relationships, whether they be family, personal, business, etc. Check out this clip from the beginning of the show and you see the importance of communication. Keyshia's mom breaks down at the end and admits she doesn't know how to forgive herself! That is deep! Stop looking for acceptance from everyone else when you don't even accept yourself. So once she forgives herself maybe Keyshia and Neffe can forgive her and move on towards a more functional relationship with each other.
There is also some humor in the clip ... a ghetto fabulous family and clueless manager attending a family counciling session. Manny the manager is too funny with his ill-timed comments. Keyshia and Neffe bring up the past, then they bring up the past, then they bring up the past, etc ... and finally their mom says it is a curse! Neffe is dogged out by men because their mom was dogged out by men ... it's a curse!
Also note in the video that Neffe is crying ... AGAIN! Neffe is a total basket case! This girl cries all the darn time! She is supposed to be so street and so hood but she is always crying! I've never seen such a hardcore girl cry like a baby so many times. Maybe they can help her out on next week's show. If the remainder of the shows have at least one moment like the beginning of Season 2, Episode 2, this show will surely be a winner!
