As a Lost fan from the beginning, I’ve had my ups and downs with the show. I pretty much feel season one is a perfect season of television. I am invested in good character development, and any show, film, or book that puts characters in a bubble and lets us observe their interactions is my kind of drama. I’m probably like the Dharma Initiative in that way. If you establish compelling back-story, link the characters in mysterious ways, and keep me guessing, then I’m hooked. Sadly over the last few seasons, my addiction to the show has waned (season three made me want to throw things at the television screen). My excitement was lost, as was the show’s direction. But Wednesday night, my faithful viewership was rewarded.
