Marion Jones Admits Steroid Use |

Track star, Marion Jones, will plead guilty on October 5, 2007 in New York on two counts of lying to federal agents. The same charge took down Scooter Libby and Martha Stewart. Jones stands to lose her Olympic medals and up to 5 years of her freedom.
Was there ever any doubt that she did not take steroids? She wrote letters to family admitting she took "the clear" for 2 years, starting in 2000 when she hooked up with Trevor Graham. She said she thought it was flaxseed oil. Barry Bonds already used that excuse, but we will allow one woman to use it too. Trevor Graham has ruined a lot of track and field careers and will probably begin naming names once the feds apply more pressure on him.
Marion Jones was so convincing when she denied ever using any performance enhancing drugs. She even passed a lie detector test. Luckily, we know lie detector tests can be passed by liars pretty easily.
Well, Marion Jones is now broke and a convicted felon. What is next for her? She can't run any longer ... actually, she never could run very fast without the drugs. I watched her basketball games and track meets at UNC Chapel Hill. She was a fast little girl, but far from the fastest musclebound woman in the world. How long do these fools think they will get away with using drugs to gain an advantage in sports?
