Yolanda AdamsThe Yolanda Adams Morning Show with Brother Larry Jones, hosted by the beautiful, Grammy Award winning, First Lady of Gospel, Yolanda Adams, has launched and we have given the show a few months to air before writing this review. Well, the verdict is in ... well, let us pray before we proceed any further:
Lord, we want to thank you for this great day you have made. We would like to ask for forgiveness of all our sins. We are very thankful for the blessings you have bestowed and will continue to bestow upon us. Without you Lord, nothing is possible and with you first in our lives, anything is possible. Continue to bless Mrs. Adams and her family as she heads down this road of radio show hostess. Lord, please give all of us the courage to try new things to uplift your kingdom. In Jesus' Holy and precious name we pray, Amen.
Now ... folks, this radio show SUCKS!! It is the worse morning show I have heard so far. I am hoping it will get better with time, but I just can't stand to listen any more. Different preachers get on the show and they contradict each other. Bro. Larry Jones ... I can't figure out what his purpose is on the show. I really don't understand what Yolanda Adams' purpose is on the show. Maybe the pretty face is what they thought would carry the show. Every time I tune in, she's bragging about the great shape she is in and how she can't wait to play tennis again. The best part of this talk show is when the music is played! It seems the gospel/inspirational versions of programs are never as good as their secular counterparts. Surely this show will get better with time but it gets a 0 out of 10 right now. The foundation is great as the Lord is as solid a foundation as you can get. So continue to build on your foundation Mrs. Adams and you will have a great show eventually.

The Yolanda Adams Morning Show is currently airing in the following areas' inspirational music stations:

  • Atlanta, GA
  • Augusta, GA
  • Charlotte, NC
  • Cleveland, OH
  • Columbus, OH
  • Indianapolis, IN
  • Philadelphia, PA
  • Raleigh, NC
  • Richmond, VA

Chime in and let us all know where you listen to the show.

I enjoy my ride in the morning so much. I'm bobbing my head, moving my hands and laughing at the comments made during the conversations between Yolanda, Brother Larry and Marcus. Keep during what you're doing. Many are being blessed!!!

I understand why it is so important to know each other in the spirit. There are some good things about this show but on the other hand there is a lot of flesh and I am not a religious person. Music is ministry. What ever is in that person is express in the air waves radio or not. What ever that person is fill of lust, gossip, hatred and so on if you know what I mean. What type of music were you playing during the winter holiday oh I mean CHRISTmas. I know this is a late response. Ok commercials what wrong with saying Disneyland instead of Magic kingdom whom are you endorsing. To joke about another artist recording then mentioning their name come on now. I am not picking please find a way to have fun and create laughter without insults and then you will play responses only that encourage this behavior " keep on doing what you doing". THIS SHOULD BE MINISTRY as evidence by the BIBLE. Is this the life style you are reflecting. The world is listening and I am sure some of them are right at home.

"this radio show SUCKS"...:"it's horrible"??? We are talking about the same show, right? I would hope as christians we could lift up one another. No one is perfect, not even these radio personalities, but I thought we would be able to express ourselves differently. I am not here to judge like some people here, but I find the show uplifting-as many people I know do, as well. I thank God for the positives of the show and points He wants to get across to me through this show....Bless these people and God for speaking to me through the show. God created this world, and as He knows all and what would happen in the future...regardless, He still created us. He wanted us to follow his word and have faith so that we would know the parts of the world to seperate ourselves from and be that salt and light to the world. God Bless you all!

The Yolanda Adams show is horrible. There has to be a separation from the world God hates the world. So there is no need for some of the things that are said on the show. There is no conviction anymore for some of this improper behavior. That is why we have so much confusion in the churche's, people dont know which way to go. Open up your eyes people and pray that God will open up your understanding. Only what is done for God will last.

Yolanda,
I was feeling very low this morning and your song came on the air stations, the battle is not yours it's the Lords.Well that song took me to another level and made me realize that the Lord will control
what is going on in my life right now. God is truly good and has stretch your works not only over the air ways, but through your voice. Keep up Gods work!!

I do love Yolanda Adams and her beautiful voice but I must say I was truly disappointed to loose Denise and the Gang at 1190 WLIB in NY. It really has not been the same and unfortunately I dont listen as often as before. Well, thank God Pastor Hez is still on. I miss my local people and the inspiration they brought to the airwaves.

Is Sonya Hamm sick? The Yolanda Adams Morning Show booted Sonya Hamm in the mornings. However, I have been listening to Sonya Hamm lately. I have not heard about her in a while but now she seems to be missing from the airwaves? Is Sonya sick or something?

I just read every comment from the first one posted in July 2007 to the most recent one on October 2008. Isn't God amazing at how different he made each of us? Some people may like the show and some may not...and that's okay. We just need to know that we are different and learn to accept and embrace that diversity. Each of us should pray to understand what God wants us to do and not try to judge if someone else is annointed or inspired by God. Trust me, if it's not of God...He will reveal it.

For all of you who feel this show is to worldly: What we as Christians sometimes forget is that ministry is more for the unsaved rather than the saved. Part of the reason many of our children or shying away from Christian based activities is because we try to stick with the old foot stomping hand clapping song and dance that we grew up with. I'm not saying get away from that but we must grow with the times and that can be done without being "worldly". I don't feel that the show is worldly. I feel they are reaching out to those who may not enjoy the same kind of music you do. And in that case instead of writing negative comments just don't listen. What's funny to me is in order for you to know what 50 cent song is you have to have heard it from somewhere. Did that make u less of a Christian.
