Snoop Dogg is at it again with his new sitcom, Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood. Snoop Dogg is actually a really funny fellow!
"Fatherhood" reminds me a lot of the Bernie Mack show. There will be moments of family life taking place and then a segment of Snoop addressing America. I could do without the addressing America but it was pretty funny in the premier.
The premier episode started with Snoop's maid quitting. The house is filthy so Snoop tells the kids to clean the house. One of his sons challenges him to a push up contest to see who cleans the house ... hilarious!
Snoop's wife then ask Snoop if he will go visit the doctor to ensure he will be healthy for a long time for his kids. Oh, I forgot to mention Snoop's family plays the part of an upper-middle or lower-upper class family ... that is why the wife would suggest going to visit a doctor. Snoop visits the doctor but is afraid of needles! The doctor recommends he go to yoga class to learn to relax so he can get shots and give blood.
The doc also suggests Snoop seek acupuncture to help with his fear of needles. This was probably one of the funnier pieces in "Fatherhood" and I laughed for a long time!
All in all, the show is pretty good. Probably a 3.5 out of 5 and well worth at least one look. We'll see where it goes from here.
looks like Shante will have a second chance to show people she can be a good mom, since some of ya didn't think she did a good job showing her parental skills the 1st time around. Snoop is back for a second season...I saw clips of new season online...season airs November 30, I think. Hell ya!
I'm glad Snoop came out with a positive role as a hip hop dad. My husband and I have enjoyed watching every episode. The only problem we had was Shante. She did not really show any parental input in her childrens interest or herself. There are many women who would love to be in her shoes and to have the resources and opportunity to have your own business. After working all day to support his family, he should not have to come home to clean after teenage children. This is at the point she should have put her foot down and made them clean after themselves but, instead rewarding bad behavior but taking them out to dinner. I hope she takes the opportunity to make a name for herself and be a role model to her daughter and other young women.

I was judgemental of snoop dogg all along and never liked it when my children sing his sons; they\'r teens esp. d boys but ever since they forced me to watch the sit-com, I\'ve not missed an episode. I love Shante\'s cool demeanour for managing a great legend like Snoop and you know what, I just love him now so much for being himself. I see his traits in one of my sons. i av 2 boys nd a girl just like him. Well done great lady! Keep bossing them all. I\'m writing from Nigeria and i just wish that you\'ll visit me with ur kids home here in Nigeria 4 them to be in touch with their root.
