Senator Obama crushed Senator McCain tonight in their final presidential debate. It
appears Senator McCain and his camp are giving up their fight for the White House.
McCain repeatedly claimed Obama was not playing fairly and Obama's camp had hurt his
feelings on many occasions. The moderator, Bob Schieffer, even asked a question
about the negative campaign ads and the best McCain could give was that Obama had
hurt his feelings!
McCain's performance was very disappointing tonight and I am terribly upset with the
Republican party. Could the party not find a better candidate to put against Obama?
Neither party deserves the White House for the next 4 years and these two are like
kids swinging blindly at each other in the dark. McCain showed up at tonight's debate
and he answered the questions clumsily, many times trying to jump on Obama's character
instead of answering the questions!
Senator McCain, for the first 45 minutes of the debate kept bringing up Senator Obama's
conversation with Joe the Plumber. Senator McCain ... Joe the Plumber is about to buy a business
and makes more than $250,000 per year! We as middle class Americans no longer want to hear about
Joe the Plumber! We want to talk about how we can recognize the American dream and purchase
a business like Joe the Plumber. How can a smart man like McCain totally miss the point
on the Joe the Plumber story?
McCain was behind going into the debate and I would not be surprised to see him fall
even further behind after the lazy, unprepared performance at tonight's debate. He seemed
to be reaching and swinging wildly tonight while Obama calmly threw punches and made
it through yet another debate unscathed by McCain, the master debater. How can a presidential
campaign go on this long and McCain's campaign still has not developed an identity? Obama
has succeeded in stepping up to the plate and demonstrating the differences in the two
candidates. I thought the debates would favor Senator McCain, but the opposite has been reality. |
