There are talks and negotiations taking place that involve a continuation of the series or possibly a feature film. The original writer Kenneth Johnson(the creator of V), has written a sequel novel to the 1983 mini-series entitled V: The Second Generation.
V mini series was ahead of it's time back in 1984. I think a continuation of that series today would spark alot of interests even among people who have not seen it. It's rumored that some original characters will also be in this new installment. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of it. In my humble opinion I think it would be a success, but I don't think it would be as successful as the original.
I'm really happy to see a new site here regarding V. Kudos to you sir. I am very excited about the idea of the new V, I support it 100% and feel enthusiastic about it to say the least:-) In my humble opinion, nothing could or would ever compare to the original 1983,84,85( yes, i mean the mini series as well as the final battle and the tv series:-) xx VQ
