Even though she's a successful world renouned artist, she still has a very unbalanced mindset as well as immature. She admits to being attracted to edgy guys and loved the thrill. Something is obviously wrong with Rihanna.

According to one article in Britain's Glamour Magazine, Rihanna said that she doesn't want to date 'straight-laced' guys because she says she finds men like that boring. All this even AFTER Chris Brown beat her till she was swollen. I figured she liked the drama. I would not be surprised if she dated another guy who ended up beating her, similar to Halle Berry who also seemed to end up with men who abused her OR somehow looked to be hit possibly. Obviously she must like the trouble and drama. She's stated more than once that she likes the 'thrill', even in the collaboration she did with Jay Z and Kanye West, as well as in Glamour Magazine's article. In her own words Rihanna states "I like the risk, I like the edge. That's the thrill for me." Maybe all the people who were saying Rihanna did something to cause Chris Brown to hit her were not too far off base. Rihanna seriously needs to get off the stage and seek counseling.
