John McCain is in favor of the gas tax holiday while Barack Obama says the tax holiday is a joke. Well, Obama wins this time around as we have horrible news for all you drivers will soon be paying $6.00/gallon for gasoline!

Gasoline you are buying at today's price of $4.00/gallon was produced with oil that was $90/barrel, sucked from the earth in January 2008. Now oil is over $130/barrel, almost 150% more than it was in January! So if gas is $4.00/gallon now, you can rest assured $6.00/gallon is not far off in the future. There is NOTHING McCain or Obama can do about gasoline prices in the short term. No matter which candidate is our next president, they will inherit the highest gasoline prices in history and it will a long time before they can do anything about lowering the gas prices!

agree that there are no short term solutions. dont trust anyone who doesn;t say it is a long term deal and that it will require sacrifice. each of us need to reduce dependence on oil...support clean exploration in the US. several sites help find the lowest gas prices near you...one is findfueldeals.com
