Hardcore Jay-Z fans will not be disappointed with Jay-Z's "Rock Boys" from the American Gangster album. The song reminds me of the song by Playaz Circle, "Duffle Bag Boy."
I can't believe Jay-Z would copy the concept of such weak rappers like Playaz Circle. They made the song already with Lil Wayne so there was no need for a remake for such a sorry subject. Jay-Z's version isn't really that much better than Playaz Circle's version. If you consider Jay is supposed to be the King of Rap right now, his version is lacking severely compared to the version from the low-life Playaz Circle.
Fans of Jay-Z will somehow find a way to like this song. Otherwise, you collection won't miss this track and I imagine the entire American Gangster album will be just as weak as this track.
Jay Dee actually got this one right. Jay-Z has run out of sh*t to do. And he is a great self promoter. He does whatever he has to do to try and stay at the top, even if it means he has to be come a copycat like the weak MCs who get mad airplay. Jay\'s song is better, but it appears to be reworked copy of Playaz Circle\'s concept.
WHAT THE FUKC!? You can compare it to his first release from Kingdom Come, \"Show me what you got\".if anything..but playaz circle???? never... not to take away from their song, but they are two completely different songs... too different feels... two different styles... HOW DARE YOU...
WOW...

1. How dare you compare Jay-Z to the likes of Playaz Circle? The song is not the same concept.
2. If you are going to talk about \"hardcore\" Jay-Z fans, maybe you should be one yourself. Asshole. LISTEN to the music then write a review.
