Skillz, a Virginia native, is a refreshing sound in Rap. If Rap had more artists like Skillz, Rap would be a better place. Skillz is most noted for GhostWriting, but the songs and videos he makes are to the point, tell the truth, and are too funny. Kinda reminds one of QuantumCritics.com!
Skillz takes lyrical jabs at everyone in his yearly Rap Ups. He started the Rap Up series in the Double Oh Two (2002 for you slow pokes) and has continued until has last masterpiece rapping up 2006. Dumb people doing dumb things to make news will definitely get you put in Skillz' mix. I think a lot of these dumb celebrities straighten up their acts the next year because Skillz clowned them in the previous year's rap up! Think about it, Kobe's been a good little boy since Skillz clowned him. None of the rappers he has taken jabs at has bothered to come back at him with anything. Probably because he wrote their material and there is no way they would bite the hand that is getting them fed!
Skillz keeps saying he is going to quit making the rap ups. Skillz ... KEEP MAKING THESE SONGS!! These songs are a breath of fresh air in this stale ass rap game!
