The Batman cinema series has seen some rough days. What
started out as a promising franchise, tactfully carried out
by Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson quickly devolved into
the laughable trio of sequels that followed: Batman Returns,
Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin. Strewn in amongst
these gems were also several other scripts that never made
it to screen, like Batman vs. Superman and Batman:
Dark Knight, which sadly pitted Batman against a creature
named Man-Bat.
