I do not know if I have heard/read anyone put it better than that NY! I think this show is surely not trying to save souls or anything like that. It is pure entertainment to give Christians something to listen to just to say they do not listen to the secular Tom Joyner, Russ Parr, or Steve Harvey morning shows. However, this Yolanda Adams show is almost as secular as those other shows with the language and birthday music! I heard some secular music playing for the birthdays one day!

What I don't appreciate is how the local radio stations show no regard for their listeners when we turn on the radio one morning & the entire format & host is unfamiliar; that's extremely upsetting. Ms. Adam's show has now taken over the morning airways here in NY where I listen to 1190 WLIB which is a sister station to the secular WBLS so what do you expect when the secular is mixed in with what is supposed to be gospel. Here lately, i've paid attention to the language that's used on the station; it's an "inspiration" station & Pastor Hez has a "show". Since they put it this way, I really don't expect too much more than entertainment. If I want ministry, I'll have to look elsewhere. Let us all watch as well as pray & continue to raise the standard against satan himself as he continues to try to infiltrate the thing's that are supposed to be holy. To those who call raising the standard being a "hater", your beef is with God Himself who declares that there must be a difference between clean & unclean, holy & unholy. Let's raise the standard because it's God's standard.

I'm sorry, but this shown is NOT good. Yolanda's music may be inspirational, but she needs to leave radio to someone else. In Atlanta, I MISS SONYA HAMM. I don't even listen to Yolanda anymore. Her jingles (raps after the 7am music) are so lame. Who writes this crap? Bishop Secular is too controversial and is a slap in the face to any REAL Christian. Anyone who likes this show only likes it because Yolanda Adams is on it. I can't wait for the ratings to drop, and they replace her with someone else in Atlanta.

I love the show. I think it is very inspirational and needed for those Christians who are getting sick and tired of the other options in the morning. In addition, I sometimes need to hear an encouraging word before heading to the office & this show gives just that. Keep doing what you do and God bless.

It's wonderful to wake up to a praise song instead of a buzzer or a secular song! The Yolanda Adams show (like all others)has it's up and downs. Some days it's Inspired, other days not so much. I love the Interviews I've heard and Canton Jones is a favorite. I'd rather hear about how God's people are making a difference and helping each other than who did what on American Idol. The points of power are good and often thought provoking, but sometimes negated by the silliness of The Lamont award. Let's leave that nonsense to the secular world. All told a good show, just needs a little tweaking in places.

This show has too much secular stuff in it. I heard 50 Cent music one day. I refused to turn it back on after that.

:angry: I ams orry but I am dissapointed by the format of the show. Yolanda, when I was in college years ago, I saw you in concert and I was blessed by your music and testimony. The show seems to straddle the fence too much. When I cut the radio on I do NOT want to hear about American Idol, football or even rappers in the world. Everything should have its proper place. I am not putting the show down-I just want to hear more of Jesus on your show. Anyone can get on the radio and talk but it takes the annointed to minister. Yolanda I have no doubt that God blessed you with gifts but if we are not careful as Christians, we will begin to conform to the standards of the world. The points of power are great. Maybe we need to expand that segemt. When I cut a gospel radio station on, I expect to hear just that--THE GOSPEL!

Wow it is some serious haters on this site. The show is great. Larry Jones... Or Bro. Larry Jones as he likes to be called now, originally had the show. All of a sudden they added Yolanda Adams. \"Bro. Larry Jones\" used to be \"Funky Larry Jones\" when he worked for an r&b station Majic 102.1. Marcus is a comedian and he lives in Houston as well. It\'s crazy even when someone is trying to do something for God people still find something to complain about. If it\'s that awful, don\'t tune in...it\'s just that simple.

I am a fan of your music and was looking forward to seeing you at Willett Hall this past Saturday. WHAT A TREMENDOUS DISAPPOINTMENT!! First, we were told that if we purchased our tickets at the box office, we would get your new CD. Well once we purchased our tickets, we were told that they would be given to us at the concert. When we arrived, we were told that they would be mailed to us!! How, when no one even asked for our address! On top of all this, the show was a great disappointment (even more so after we went to see CeCE last night at the Attucks Theatre, she was awesome!).

Yolanda, you looked great, but next time wear some shoes so that you can get your praise on. You stood in the same spot all night and sang 6, maybe 7 songs!! What\'s up with that?? I always enjoy a good word from God, but when I come to a concert, I come for the music, not to be preached at. If there were some annointing in the word, I may have enjoyed it, but you seem to just be talking!

Did this show reflect how you feel about ministering to a small audience? As a motivational speaker and Sunday School teacher, I have the same anointing whether I am speaking to 500 people or 50! We would have faired better had we just peurchased your CD and stayed home. I have never been to one of your concerts before and needless to say, I will not support another one...unless it is FREE.
By the way, we still want our free CDs, so please respond and I will be glad to give you the mailing addresses.

This show is horrible! I think I remember that Sonya Hamm lady from my time living in Raleigh, NC. She was magnitudes better in the morning than Yolanda Adams. I tune in maybe once a month to see if it has gotten any better ... NOPE! Been almost 9 months and the show is just as bad now as it was when she started. Kudos for her bravery in starting the show, but she has to realize that she needs to step aside and get a real radio personality to do the show.

Finally, I thought I would never find out where I voice my opinion. What is this show???? Marcus D. Wiley is the only reason I ever listen. I wish that Atlanta would go back to the local show. I know names make money but the Yolanda Adams morning show is the worst!! I hate waking up with her grinning so awfully loud and trying to preach to someone. She is not A Shirley Ceasar just to name one annointed singer. If the annointing is there, it must hurry and reveal itself. Yoland Adams does not even have a radio voice, people.
Radio 1 will need to revamp this one. Bring Sonya Hamm back in the morning for Atlanta.

Has this show gotten much better since its inception? I listened a few months ago and the show was not too good. She was playing a song by 50 Cent when she said happy birthday to people. I thought that was highly inappropriate for her type of show.

I personally listen to the show every morning(Angleton, Tx),and alot of my friends do also. It helps me to make it through the day. Yolanda your show is wonderful, I found your show by flipping through the stations on a hot day in June of 2007. I know it was GOD because you see he was already working on me. I don\'t listen to nothing else but your show everyday. I am very glad that we finally have a Gospel radio station in Maryland that can be received through an FM station.

I thing the show is great. How can I get copies of the pionts of power?

I used to work at UC radio station in Las Vegas, and Urban Gospel can compete, if you have radio professionals doing the show. Since the FCC no longer required licenses, anybody who is (or thinks that he is) a comedian gets a morning drive show. That is why I am no longer in the business. It is hard competing with all the singers, comics and actors who have come on my turf, and I don\'t know why - it isn\'t like I am trying to get a starring role on their sitcom, or sing a track on their cd....
